Bitumen sealing is formed by the spraying of a bitumen binder and covering with a layer of aggregate. Most new driveways we recommend two layers a layer of bitumen 14mm stone aggregate rolled in with a compacting roller then a layer of bitumen and 7mm stone aggregate rolled in with a compacting roller.
We only recommend a single coat as part of repairs or a maintenance seal to bring the surface to new and re-water proof the roadway.
